About Huma Finance

Huma Finance (HUMA) is a decentralized finance (DeFi) project built on Solana that bridges traditional payments with blockchain technology. It focuses on providing instant, low-cost liquidity solutions for businesses and individuals, enabling faster cross-border transactions and working capital access. Users can earn yield by supplying stablecoins like USDC to Huma's lending pools, which are backed by real-world payment flows. The HUMA token plays a key role in governance, staking, and ecosystem incentives. With partnerships across traditional finance and crypto, Huma aims to make global payments more efficient while offering transparent, sustainable yields to DeFi participants.

When payments start making money for themselves, that's what @humafinance is all about! Sometimes, a new concept comes into being not because it's smart, but because the old system is too clumsy. PayFi is a prime example of this. The past payment systems were bound by time. Cross-border remittances took days, credit card settlements took weeks, and trade financing felt more like a marathon. With every settlement, there was a sum of money waiting. Just this part of pre-funded liquidity has locked up over $40 trillion globally. This is what PayFi aims to liberate; the dormant time value. ▰▰▰▰▰ What are the problems with traditional payments? Recently, I looked at Messari's PayFi report, which stated that payment financing is the foundation of finance, but its efficiency has been hollowed out by the system itself. To transfer money, you have to trust the bank; To finance a bill, you have to wait for approval; To conduct cross-border transactions, you have to first put money in the other country. The problem with this logic isn't trust, but structure. Too much time is spent waiting. And what PayFi wants to do? It's simple: turn waiting time into earning time. ▰▰▰▰▰ How does Huma turn payment flows into credit flows? If I had to choose a project that truly runs this logic, it would be Huma. It's not just creating a faster payment channel; it's putting payments, credit, and liquidity into the same protocol. In Huma's model, a cross-border settlement is not just from A to B, but a cash flow that can be financed, split, repaid, and recycled. Arf uses it for cross-border institutional settlements, Rain uses it to collateralize stablecoin credit cards, and BSOS and Roam use it to finance trade bills and hardware networks. All earnings come from real transaction fees and financing spreads, with no subsidies, no emissions, driven by real cash flow. ▰▰▰▰▰ Recent data on Huma As of August: Huma's on-chain transaction volume is close to $6 billion, liquidity exceeds $130 million, and lenders' annualized returns are between 10–20%. These numbers may not seem exaggerated, but the key is the turnover rate! The same funds can turn over 50 times in a year! That means the funds are not just sitting idle; they are in motion. This is something very few DeFi protocols can achieve. ▰▰▰▰▰ How can it achieve this? ※ Focus on enterprise-level payment scenarios Huma does not do retail loans or personal credit scoring. It serves cross-border settlements, B2B payments, and trade financing. The demand in these areas is stable, with real earnings and cyclical resistance. ※ Structured financial design Each fund pool can define different terms, levels, and repayment methods. This is not an ordinary liquidity pool; it's more like a short-term bill factory on-chain. ※ Dynamic risk control and compliance framework Through on-chain/off-chain data and collaboration with licensed institutions, Huma integrates credit assessment and KYC into the protocol logic, achieving openness without losing regulatory readability. ▰▰▰▰▰ External major signals Visa recently named Huma in its stablecoin credit report. They wrote very directly: "The potential of stablecoins is not just payments, but to become programmable currency at the credit layer." In the report, Huma is seen as a representative project for compliant cross-border payment financing, enabling lenders to achieve annualized returns exceeding 10%, relying on the high-frequency inflow brought by stablecoin settlements. This means that traditional payment giants are also realizing that the on-chain credit layer could be the next Visa network. ▰▰▰▰▰ Risks and realities Of course, PayFi is not easy. Compliance across jurisdictions, verification of off-chain data on-chain, and the emotional fluctuations of the funding side all determine that this is not a track that can be run through speculation. But the good news is: it is already on the road. With regulations like the "Genius Act" and MiCA becoming clear, institutions finally have a reason to legally enter this market! ▰▰▰▰▰ Summary What Huma has always wanted to do is very simple: make payments themselves an asset. When you can earn money during the settlement process, payments are no longer a cost but a productivity. Perhaps this is the next true financial narrative after stablecoins. #KaitoYap @KaitoAI #Yap @humafinance_zh

I haven't followed up for a while@humafinance doesn't mean that my uncle didn't participate, this project is still what my uncle thinks is a "stable stone" project. I just saw that Huma and Jupiter have cooperated to open a PST/USDC pool, with a deposit interest rate of 9% and a borrowing interest rate of 4.6%, which is obviously arbitrage, let's study it together: 👉 Let's talk about the conclusion first: the theoretical maximum can achieve an annualized return of 33.95% of stablecoins 👉 Let's talk about the logic: the core is to borrow money, deposit PST as collateral to get interest, lend USDC to pay interest, and exchange USDC for PST to mortgage again. 👉 Finally, the risk: The risk is that the value of the collateral asset falls due to the de-anchoring of PST, and the forced liquidation is compulsory. Okay, then let's see if PST has ever been anchored. Therefore, Uncle feels that the risk is controllable and the income is rich, which can be stuffed. The participation entrance is in the official tweet cited

$PST has landed as collateral on @jup_lend, and the current subsidized borrowing rate for USDC is 4.8%. The base interest rate for PST is expected to remain unchanged at 9% in the long term, which increases the profit margin for Loop. Yesterday at the Shenzhen Accelerate event, I met with @DrPayFi to discuss in detail. @humafinance is actively exploring the risk control mechanisms for Loop, and we can look forward to more ways to use $PST in the future.
