2/ XCOPY has always experimented across platforms and chains
Beginning with early releases on Ascribe, his work has spanned at least 20 different platforms and 4 blockchains: ETH Mainnet, Shape L2, Tezos, and Bitcoin (Ascribe)
3/ While many platforms have provided a new audience and space to innovate around release mechanics, Shape redefined what the art itself could be: “composable”
“Ultimately, it’s a different playground from mainnet”
5/ It’s also XCOPY’s first foray into vector work, and his only vector form generative character study
“The works scale infinitely and are responsive to the canvas”, in a format that was later replicated for ICXN, released on Art Blocks Engine in late 2024

Last week @XCOPYART sent me his assets for his COPE SALADA collection to remix. I decided to hand paint the assets to give it my own flavour. After a few notes back and forth, the ThankYouXcopy collection of 21 unique artworks was born. I've been a fan of XCOPY since i joined the space in 2020 and i'm excited that he approved of this take on his art. This is a fun experiment on @Shape_L2 and i cant wait to see what happens next. Special thanks to @bonafidehan and @TransientLabs for helping.

- Flavour (flames)
- Base (background)

10/ Noise (mouth) includes: cope (21%), savage (13%), rager (6%), cutie (6%)
11/ Flavour (flames) includes: doom (24%), toxo (12%), subs (9%), Aesop (2%)
12/ Base (background) includes: cope-blocks (13%), cope-micro (10%), cope-check (9%), basic-cope (7%)
