About Liquity
LQTY is the native token of Liquity, a decentralized borrowing protocol that lets users take out loans in BOLD, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, using Ethereum (ETH) as collateral. Unlike traditional lending platforms, Liquity offers low, predictable interest rates and ensures users always maintain full control of their assets—no hidden risks or rehypothecation. LQTY plays a key role in the ecosystem by rewarding participants who help stabilize the protocol, such as those providing liquidity to the BOLD stablecoin. I've always been an advocate of the idea of moving part of your stablecoin stash to decentralized stables as part of the diversification strategy.
Yes, they're less liquid, but stablecoins like BOLD have a coded redemption mechanism guaranteeing the peg at all times (plus, the yield on some of those could surprise some of you).
Migrating 5% is low IMO. At least 10%.
