Japan's 🇯🇵 $2 trillion payments processer TIS just launched it's multi-tokenization platform on Avalanche.
So who are TIS?
They are a major payment processor handling
- 85% of all branded debit cards
- 50% of credit card transactions
- also a major financial system Integrator
What are they bringing to Avalanche?
TIS has been working on Avalanche since 2024 June for
- Tokenization of Japanese government bonds
- Toyota's Mobility Orchestration Network tech paper
- SMBC Stablecoin business partnership

Why Avalanche?
I will give my thoughts on this.
- It is the most future proof infrastructure for businesses to build on.
- You will see many projects that promises but never delivers or sunset their services after 1-2 years.
- You can't build the next generation financial infrastructure on top of a fragile foundation.
- Avalanche has one of the best long term vision and technology.
- Although the Avalanche tech may seem simple at a glance it is carefully designed to not hinder future improvements of innovation. You can see this from how Avalanche upgrades it's tech. It's always building on top of it's core foundation for creating a ecosystem of chains.
It's not a surprise since TIS is indeed working with many chains but their top choice is Avalanche to build the next foundation for payment infrastructure.
